Here is what Pawzody uses to run your account, pet care tools, portraits, community, and billing.

Information you provide
Pawzody stores your account name, email address, and password hash; pet profile details and photos; care logs and tasks; generated portraits; community posts, replies, votes, and group memberships; and testimonials you submit. Questions you ask are processed to generate AI answers. Payment records include the plan, amount, status, and Stripe references, rather than a full card number.
How Pawzody uses it
We use your information to sign you in, reset your password, show pet profiles and care history, personalize product suggestions, generate AI answers and portraits, manage Pawzody Credits and plan limits, process billing, moderate community content, and support account export or deletion.
AI, payments, and email providers
When you use Ask Zody or request a care insight, the selected pet profile, care context, and question are sent to Google's Gemini service. Portrait generation sends your uploaded pet photos and style instructions to Gemini. Stripe handles paid checkout and may receive your email address and purchase details. Our configured email provider sends password reset messages. These providers handle information under their own policies.
What other people can see
Community posts and replies can be seen by other signed-in users. An approved testimonial may appear on the public homepage with the name and role you provided. Your private pet profiles, care logs, portrait uploads, and billing records are not published through those features.
Sessions and preferences
Pawzody uses a session cookie to keep you signed in and to protect forms. Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your browser's local storage. The app may also create routine server logs needed to run and troubleshoot the service.
Your controls and retention
In Settings, you can update account details, download a ZIP export of your Pawzody records and pet media, or delete your account. Application records are kept while your account is active. Account deletion removes your account, related pet records, and uploaded pet media from the application. Copies held by Stripe, Gemini, your email provider, or in operational backups may be subject to their own retention practices and applicable requirements.
